I am a HOMEOWNER !

Yep,

I did it ! I bought a house. The closing is pending right now as the date is set out to April 24th, but I am working with the lender to get the moved up to March. I am a little excited, okay I am really excited. It just seems right to do this now. I get to buy appliances but I do get some tax money back as well.

I hope Honey does well in transition, my parents and I are already having custody arguments. They have offered to take her during the day and then we can work our way into leaving her at my house during the day later on this summer. I am sure Petey boy (her brother and my parents dog) is going to have to adjust as well.

So much to do and so little time. I am going to put down my earnest money tonight and take another look around. My mom is helping me pack and pick out paint colors. Something to call my own. For me, for Honey. Finally.
